Martin Eriksen

Has been working as a professional coach for 10 years and have finished the Danish Badminton Federations coach education. He is educated in BWF Level 2 and have a bachelor’s degree in Sports Science from the university.

Martin is working in Odense Badminton Club where he is responsible for organizing the training for all players from U13 and younger. This means working with the beginners and the elite players up until U13. Besides working with the youngest players, he is also a part of the coaching team that handles the coaching when their first team play matches. The first team is a part of the best league in Denmark.

Before working in Odense, he has been in some of the most successful youth clubs in Denmark as head of the talent development. Next to coaching in clubs Martin is also in charge of the fastest selling badminton camp in Denmark and been a part of BadCoach Summercamp the first 5 years.

Over the years Martin has worked with coach education in Denmark as a registered instructor and he has also been a part of the instructors at BadCoach Summercamp and at Orø Denmark – International Badminton Camp.

Martin has for many years worked on how to optimize his badminton training for children who are 5-10 years old. He is very interested in the didactics and communication and how his training helps to keep and inspire the players motivation to learn new skills.
